Weekdly Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 18, 2026

Weekdly is a weekend planning, budgeting, journaling, and memory-keeping app. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the app. Weekdly does not sell your personal information and does not track you across apps or websites.

1. Information We Handle

Category Examples Purpose
Apple sign-in information Apple user identifier, name, email address if provided by Apple, authorization date To keep you signed in and restore your app session.
Profile information Nickname, personal note, profile image To display and edit your profile in the app.
Weekend plans and records Activity titles, selected day, time, location, friends, notes, budgets, expenses To create, save, review, and manage your weekend schedule.

In-app purchase data StoreKit product IDs, transaction IDs, purchase status To verify purchases, credit Weekend Coins, and prevent duplicate crediting.
Reports and feedback Report type and description submitted by you To review issues related to content, accounts, or app behavior.

2. Local Storage

The current version primarily stores app data locally on your device, including your Apple sign-in record, profile, budgets, activity records, selected preferences, collection status, Weekend Coins balance, and transaction de-duplication records.

If a future version adds cloud sync, server accounts, or remote storage, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are introduced.

3. Permissions

These permissions are requested only when you use the related feature. You can deny permission and continue using other parts of the app. Permissions can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Sign in with Apple

Weekdly uses Sign in with Apple for account access. Apple may provide a user identifier and, only when available, your name and email address. The app stores this information locally to keep you signed in. If Apple reports that the credential is revoked or no longer found, the app clears the saved login record and returns to the sign-in screen.

5. In-App Purchases and Weekend Coins

Weekend Coins are a virtual currency used only inside Weekdly for digital features, such as generating or regenerating weekend plans after the first free generation. Weekend Coins cannot be withdrawn, transferred, exchanged for cash, or used outside the app.

All payments are processed by Apple App Store through StoreKit. Weekdly does not receive your credit card number, Apple ID password, or full payment credentials. The app uses StoreKit transaction status to verify purchases and credit Weekend Coins.

6. Generated Plans and Content Notice

Weekdly may generate weekend plan suggestions based on the day, available time, budget, and activity preferences you select. Generated plans, templates, and forum content are for reference only. They are not safety, transportation, financial, medical, legal, or professional advice.

You should independently verify weather, transportation, venue availability, personal safety, and budget before participating in any activity.

7. Forum Content and Reports

The plan forum may contain app templates or user-submitted content. Users are responsible for the content they create, save, or share. Do not submit illegal, infringing, harassing, misleading, discriminatory, adult, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.

Weekdly provides a report entry in the app. Reported content may be reviewed and may be removed or limited when appropriate.

8. Third-Party Services

The app uses Apple services, including Sign in with Apple and StoreKit. Apple handles authentication, payments, billing records, refunds, and App Store purchase management according to Apple’s own policies.

9. Deleting Data

You can delete your account or clear local records in the app settings. This clears local profile data, budgets, activity records, generated state, login record, and local balance records. App Store transaction and billing records remain governed by Apple’s policies.

10. Children

If you are under the age of majority in your region, you should use the app with permission and guidance from a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians can use iOS settings to restrict purchases or remove the app.

11. Contact and Updates

This policy may be updated when the app changes or when legal or platform requirements change. The latest version will show a new effective date.
